Speedy sends money from the United States to the Caribbean, Latin America and West Africa. We do not move money ourselves. We orchestrate licensed partners behind one disciplined interface, so each partner integrates once and every transfer behaves the same way.

How the pieces fit

Speedy calls your API to quote, create and look up payouts. You tell us what happened to each payout through signed webhooks. We also compare your statement with our records every day, so a payout is never assumed to have happened.

Principles we hold ourselves to

• One idempotency key per payout. Our transfer id is the key on every request to you, so a retry can never pay twice.
• Signed webhooks that fail closed. A missing or wrong signature is a rejection, never a pass.
• States only move forward. Accepted means submitted or pending, never complete.
• Normalised failures. Your errors map to a fixed set of failure codes.
• Reconciliation by design. Ambiguity goes to a person, and we never refund automatically on an unclear result.
